1952 Gibson The Baby Bee

Black Magic Vintage is pleased to offer the Baby Bee! A 1952 Gibson Les Paul we reimagined a couple of years back! 
 
This incredible guitar popped up a while back, it had been previously refinished in cherry, a very long time ago and routed for humbuckers with an added wrap-tail. A true chopper! The neck was also slimmed to a more 1960 profile it measures .81 - .94 it's super fast and absolutely fantastic! The neck is really great it doesn't have that wide thin feel like an SG it still feels great in the hand, gotta try it to "get it".
 
Not loving the cherry face I sent it off to Joe Riggio for a killer black over gold just like we did for Jared James Nichols and the Queen Bee a few years back. It came out incredible and really pops off of the old cherry back.

Set of long magnet (1958-1960) PAF's 7.7 N & 8.1 B
Tuners, truss cover, switch tip and case all original 1952
Wiring, pots, caps, switch, knobs are all original 1952
Switch ring (poker chip) back plates, jack plate and rings are all from a 1969 LPC
 
In short this bad boy has all vintage parts (less the music city bridge), looks slick as all get out and sounds absolutely incredible!
