1953 Gibson Les Paul

Fresh in on consignment is a great lil guitar we've sold a couple of times over the past 3 years...
 
It's a lovely 1953 Gibson Les Paul Standard! It features an original finish, untouched solder and plays incredibly well thanks to a recent re-fret.
The p90's are BLISTERING reading 8.1 N & 7.8 B!!! That's PAF territory kids.
This earlier 53 was originally outfitted with a trapeze tailpiece, it has been expertly converted to a wrap tail for better feel and playability. This example has a small repair (crack not break) to the back of the headstock that was mended simply and honestly without refinishing to hide. 
 
It's has great vibe and wonderful natural patina. The neck is juicy and full coming in at .89 & 1.00 with very little shoulder; a killer neck if you like them full. 
This Les Paul is super resonant and easy on the shoulder at 8 lbs 7 oz. 
 
This is a terrific "starter" or gig worthy 50's Les Paul that absolutely smokes!
