1953 Gibson Les Paul

Black Magic Vintage Guitars is pleased to offer a KILLER PAF Paul! 
 
1953 Gibson Les Paul Chopper (factory wrap tail). A couple of years ago we scored this sweet p90 wrap with a hippie stripped face (only) and a couple of missing parts from our friend Joe B, total project guitar.
 
Since the P90 pickups were shot we we sent it off to Jim @ Jam city (cert included) for a PAF conversion, being a factory wrap this did not require a neck set, Imo a very good thing. We also had Jim install long studs, the old ones were sunk and leaning heavily. Next we gotta get it looking right, so we sent it off to the master Joe Riggio for a top fin and buff off of some old clear on the back. Joe also cleaned up some old glue on the back of the headstock from a wing separation. 
 
Did I mention this thing weighs 8 lbs flat?!?! Ridiculous weight!!!

Truss cover & screws
PAF's short mag N 7.7 ohms, long mag B 7.8 ohms 
Cut pickguard and bracket
Full harness, pots, caps, knobs
Back plates
Non OG parts; case, switch plate, jack plate, Music City bridge & studs, pickup rings (obviously).
 
Frets were redone at some point and have been freshly crowned and leveled. This is a super cool ride that you can take out and gig tonight!
