1956 Gibson Les Paul

BMVG's is pleased to offer this 1956 Gibson tune-o-magic powerhouse!
 
This Les Paul is absolutely killer friends, super lightweight 8 lbs 2oz! Brand new frets so she plays effortlessly up & down the board and is properly intonated. The P90's are absolutely incredible & oh so touch sensitive. They measure 7.6 N & 8.5 B that added fire power in the Bridge comes in very handy when needed, what an inspiring guitar!
 
The neck is medium with great vibe that feels perfect in hand. It measures .90 - .96 and 1 11/16th at the nut, amazing. The entire guitar is incredibly vibey with lots of checking, bumps, bruises and some nice greening on the gold...
 
There is slightly darker overspray on the back on the headstock only. Real overspray of lacquer only; not refinished. I feel it's very important to note that as we've all seen/read shops blurring those lines. Not cool. We've scrutinized the entire area with black light, sun light, massive LED lights and cannot find any signs of a break, crack or chip out; fortunately though slightly darker the overspray is still transparent enough to see through clearly.
Why this was done is anyones guess but the good news is it does grant a nice discount on an otherwise amazing example.
