1957 Fender Stratocaster
BMVG's is pleased to offer a near mint 1957 Fender Stratocaster!
We sold this wonderful example a few years back, it came to us out of Norm's private stash. Our client needed a little financial flexibility so we gladly bought this one back. 57's are coveted by players and collectors alike, being one of the most desirable examples in the Golden era Fender catalog.
Offering an iconic look, classic tone and superb playability 57's are for many players "where it's at". The neck measures a perfect .87 - .98 with a soft V to the carve. The pickups are well balanced with plenty of quack and shimmer they measure 5.85 N - 6.10 M - 5.95 B respectively. This instrument is both perfectly balanced & very easy on the shoulder weighing 7 lbs 4 oz. The original frets remain virtually unplayed.
This example is tight as a drum and one of the best preserved 1957 Fender Stratocasters we've seen. It is without question a collectors grade example.
It includes some tags, strap, tray, trem arm and the case is in equally excellent condition.
