1958 Gibson Les Paul

With only 250 (approx) Gibson Les Paul Standards produced in 1958 of the gilded variety, these instruments are both incredibly scarce and obviously highly coveted.
This 1958 Gold Top had a rock and roll life and was ultimately forgotten and left to time.
Thankfully it never suffered a head stock break but it was at one point in its life refinished. When we discovered the guitar a few years back it was mostly there (parts wise) but the finish left a lot to be desired. So we did what any sound dealer/lover of 1950's instruments and had it properly restored by our friend and master luthier Joe Riggio. Joe as per usual knocked this finish all the way out of the park!
This guitar is back to 100% period correct, it looks amazing and sounds absolutely incredible. It features a perfect med neck .86 - .96; a pair of strong PAF's which read 8.2 N & 8.1 B respectively and has a great weight coming in just a hair over 9 lbs.
 
This is a tremendous place holder and or tour worthy 1958 Gibson Les Paul Standard.
