1960 Gibson Les Paul

Black Magic Vintage is pleased to offer a stunning and sonically incredible 1960 Gibson Les Paul Standard! 
 
0 2165 aka Birdy
 
Birdy is a real deal musicians Burst that has been making music since the 60's!
Gary Ciuci (photo w Birdy from the 70's) was gifted this burst by his neighbor in the mid 60's and used it throughout his career. 
 
In 2014 Gary sold the guitar to my pal, Grammy winning producer/engineer & musician J.J. Blair. If you don't know who J.J. is might I suggest google. A letter from J.J. and a pair of digital pics are included with the sale of Birdy. 
 
Birdy is 0 2165 (first 1/3 of 1960) so it's early enough to have all 59 appointments with a transitional neck. The stunning Birdseye top has mellowed beautifully into a nice tea with a couple of splashes of Cherry, truly gorgeous. The PAF's are both double black, they measure 7.91 N and 8.45 B being a musicians guitar all these years it goes without saying that this Burst sounds incredible.
Birdy has newer frets with plenty of life and plays perfectly up and down the fretboard.
