1961 Gibson ES-335

Black Magic Vintage is pleased to offer a MUSEUM grade 1961 Gibson ES-335 that just so happened to come out of the collection of my dear friend Deryck Whibley.
 
Deryck has included a signed copy of his book Walking Disaster (a great read) as well as a hand written and signed letter about the guitar which states that this 335 has been featured on every Sum 41 album since it's purchase back in 2007, he even threw in some picks! All in all this a super sweet package!!
 
All of that provenance and memorabilia is obviously cool BUT as an example this instrument undoubtedly stands on its own. 
This 335 is incredibly lightweight even with the bigsby coming in at a very svelte 8 lbs even. 
The factory sealed PAF's are snappy and aggressive they measure; 7.88 N & 7.85 B, perfect! 
The neck carve is fantastic and has some proper depth to it .81 @ 1st and .89 @ 12th. The original frets remain in excellent condition.
