Dumble Fender Bassman Prototype

Black Magic Vintage is pleased of offer an absolutely insane amp that also happens to be an incredibly rare piece of Dumble History!
 
This 1990 Fender Bassman has been verified by Drew Berlin of the Dumble Preservation Society (doc included) to be the prototype of what Howard would dub the La Tostada Mod. Mr. Dumble built this amp for his friend of 30+ years Alex Alvarez in 1993. Not only do I know Alex well, we sat in the room together and played this amp as he reminisced when its ownership changed hands to me a couple of years ago.
After Alex's ownership the amp changed hands to Rick Renner, I have an accompanying letter from Howard Alexander Dumble to Rick providing him with new labels for the amp and words of encouragement dated March 25th 2001. Pretty cool. 
 
I purchased this amp as a personal item, not just for the business and have throughly enjoyed it. It is sonically ferocious and its history really speaks for itself.
